Can I cancel or reschedule my weekend ride if it’s raining?

We ride rain or shine! Refunds are only given if we cancel due to severe weather like thunder and lightning. Weekend, equine camping, moonlight, and holiday rides cannot be rescheduled. Weekday rides may be rescheduled once with at least 24 hours notice.

Is there an age limit?

Yes! Trail rides are 4 years old and up. Kids camps and lessons are 6 years old and up. The horses are trained for all ages, however it doesn't mean the kids are ready for that long of a ride, has the attention span, or capability to promptly listen to instruction. Mounting blocks and platforms are available for added ease.

Do you provide helmets?

Yes we do! We have a variety of helmets in different sizes and can personally fit you to them to the best of our ability! Helmets are required for riders under 18. Adults are welcome to use one should they so choose.

**For those who want / are required to wear a helmet, please be mindful of how you style your hair. We recommend to avoid up-do hairstyles or big accessories as it will impact how your helmets fit and how comfortable you are during the ride.

Can I take a photo on my Trail Ride?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to take photos and videos. Let us know if you’d like help with a group or individual picture with your horse after you get on your horse, but before your trail ride heads out. Don't forget to tag us in your posts!

If you are looking to do a photoshoot, check out our services page!

Do I need riding experiance prior to making an appointment?

Not at all! We welcome riders of all experience levels, including those trying horseback riding for the first time. Check out our services page to see what best fits your needs!

Is there a dress code?

Please wear closed-toe shoes NO HEELS and dress appropriately for the weather. Pants are strongly recommened. Rain ponchos are available for $3 if needed, as we do ride in the rain. We also recommend no loose jewelry, and to those that want or are required to wear a helmet, to be mindful of their hair. Avoid up-do's and large accessories as they impact the fit and comfortability of the helmets.

Do you have gift certificates available?

Yes! Gift certificates are available upon request. Email us to get yours today!

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, all visits are by appointment only. Click on our services page to schedule today!

Is there a weight limit?

Yes, we can accommodate riders up to 200 lbs. Please let us know in advance if a rider is over 200 lbs so we can match them with the right horse and saddle.

PLEASE NOTE: For the safety of both the rider and our horses we have a weight limit of 200lbs per rider. If there is any question that a rider is over 200lbs we will have a scale available so that they may weigh themselves. Horses who are asked to carry more weight than they are capable of are more prone to misbehaving and causing accidents as most days they are working all day. We do not wish this to happen to any of our riders. Be honest when filling out the form. It is for your safety.

We have ONE horse who is capable of carrying a rider over 200lbs, please text the ranch phone before booking in order to reserve this horse. We allow two reservations/groups per time slot, which means if you do not message us before booking we cannot guarantee that the horse will be available for that time slot.

Can we bring treats for the animals?

Yes! They love apples and carrots! We ask that you pre-cut the food into at least quater pieces before coming out so it is easier to feed and the older animals can get some snacks as well!

We always reward the horses after they work, if you would like to give them some extra snacks and feed some of the other horses or other farm animals on the ranch, we also have snack baggies for sale! All you have to do is find one of our volunteers and ask if we have any in-stock!

How long are the Trail Rides?

Our trails range from 2.5 miles (about 1 hour at a horses walking pace) to 5 miles (2 hours at a horses walking pace). Ride times vary depending on the trail you choose when you book your ride.

Can I request a horse?

Of course! When you go to book your appointment you can notify us of this request in the comments section, and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, military personnel and first responders receive a 10% discount. If you are looking to book a trail ride, please text or email us a picture of your official ID to get the code!
